MDC-T National Organizing Secretary, Abednico Bhebhe has told Gambakwe Media that he was not suspended and is still performing his duties, in preparation for the extraordinary Congress as ordered by the Supreme Court.

Bhebhe said there was a resolution to take action against him and Gorekore, but said these were just proposals, and there was no automatic suspension.

Bhebhe said he believes that the right thing to do will be for both factions of the MDC-T to go to a combined extraordinary congress and unite the party.

Bhebhe said he is saddened that the party is always in newspapers for the wrong reasons.

He said he is a constitutionalist and will subject himself to any disciplinary action.

He disowned an article that came out on NewZimbabwe.com, which reported that Bhebhe would not attend a ‘kangaroo court’ .

Bhebhe said he knows who is behind this article and he will confront them as he did not give any interview to NewZimbabwe.com.

Bhebhe said he is not at liberty to discuss issues that are before the High court, such issues as around delegates lists and quorums.
