ECOWAS leaders arrived in Mali yesterday to negotiate with the military who led a Coup this week.
Ordinary citizens have ot left the streets since the coup took place during the week and are engaged in wild celebrations.
While the coup has been well received internally, ECOWAS is demanding a swift return to constitutional order.
Opposition party leaders are adamant that a Coup did not take place and the former president, Ibrahim Baubaca Keita resigned.
The military has not given a timeline on when the Transitional Government will be complete or when elections will get held. They have also not indicated who will be in this Transitional Government.
