MDC Tsvangirai leader Thokozani Khupe has recalled 4 more MDC Alliance councillors.
Councillors that were recalled include Denford Ngadziore, Grisot Mandere, Jaison Kautsa and Tonderai Chakaredza.
This comes after Khupe recently recalled 8 members of Parliament after MDC Alliance made an attempt to reshuffle their leadership in Parliament.
In a Facebook post one of the expelled Councillors Denford Ngadziore said:
“Dear Ward 16 Residents
This afternoon I received a letter of recall from Minister of Local Government July Moyo after he has received a letter from one Douglas Mwonzora of MDC-T the Party you rejected. You voted for me as your Councillor under MDC Alliance.
This did not come as a surprise to me and I am not regretting as you are the one who gave me the mandate through MDC Alliance. I will continue providing the necessary leadership at Community level till such a time we meet again.
I want to thank you for your support in our community work to develop ward 16.
