Human Resources Director of Schweppes Zimbabwe, Philmon Chitagu attended the World HRD congress in Canada yesterday.
Chigatu spoke about the issues that make up bench mark practices in HR. He said People and Profit are things one should consider, so as to determine whether the organization is going to be profitable.
He added that it is important to scale up employees in terms of their expertise, so they can be able to face the future.
Chigatu also said that employees need to be motivated for the business to be a success. He said that happiness at the work place is important for best results.
He also said that team work is needed, everyone has got to put a contribution for the company to be a success.
Chitagu spoke of Management Returns, he said as management they don’t hide anything, challenges, to their employees. If the company makes a profit they share with the employees as a token of appreciation.
