Hakainde Hichilema is the richest Zambian businessman, farmer and politician who has been President of the Opposition political party, United Party of National Development since 2006.
Hichilema like most Zambians does not disclose his assets. He has a lot of cattle, goats, sheep and businesses.
In 2016 Hichilema declared K73. 16 million in assets and that was equivalent to US$5million by then.
Hichilema also owns ZAMbeef, a company that supplies foodstuffs. He has a lot of employees that contribute 20% of taxpayers money to the State.
He also has a Diamond company, Cargo company and currently his assets declaration are between US$200million to US$500million.
