The Pesident of Malawi, Peter Mutharika, has rejected the recent judgement nullifying the Malawi elections. Speaking last night, Mutharika said:
Like many Malawians, my legal team and I have reservations with the judgement.
We consider the judgement an aversion to justice an attack on our democratic systems a
and an attempt to undermine the will of the people….I have instructed my legal team to appeal against the judgement and challenge it….
However we are not appealing to stop the next elections….
