The US has over 2 Million active military personnel. On the other hand, Iran has a strong ground force and the terrain is difficult to navigate. Iran has about 30 000 Kurds special forces who are extremely experienced in unconventional warfare.
Technology
The US has advanced technology such as drones and spy planes.
The US has by far the most advanced Airforce in the world.
Conclusion
This is turning out to be a David vs. Goliath sitaution. The question is: Will does Iran have a Nuclear weapon?
