Bruce Masomere who died in a tragic accident while travelling to Masvingo will be laid to rest on Monday, September 29, 2025, at Glen Forest Cemetery. Â Special Investment Advisor Dr. P. Tungwarara was identified as the chief mourner. Mourners were reportedly gathering at house number 27827 Tongogara Street in Pangoline, Masvingo. ZANU PF Harare Province Deputy Secretary for Information & Publicity, Joachim Chivayo, confirmed Masomere’s death in a condolence message. The message referred to Masomere as a “Son of the Soil,” a term often used in Zimbabwe to refer to deceased ZANU PF cadres and freedom fighters.The condolence message identified Masomere as the brother of DJ Masomere.
