Harare ā€“ In accordance with the Party’s constitution, President and First Secretary of ZANU-PF, Cde Dr. Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, has reorganized the structure of the Politburo.

The following appointments and re-assignments are effective immediately:

  • Cde Advocate Jacob Francis Nzwidamilimo Mudenda, the former Treasurer General, has been appointed as the Secretary General of the Party.
  • Cde Patrick Anthony Chinamasa, formerly the Secretary for Legal Affairs, has been appointed as the Treasurer General.
  • Cde Obert Moses Mpofu, the outgoing Secretary General, has been reassigned as the Secretary for Information Communication Technology (ICT).
  • Cde Ziyambi Ziyambi, previously the Secretary for ICT, has been appointed as the Secretary for Legal Affairs.

This reorganization highlights the Partyā€™s ongoing commitment to its policies, tenets, and ethos, and to the permanent Zimbabwe Revolution in service to the people and the nation of Zimbabwe.
