Promise Mkwananzi has condemned the surprise court summons issued to recalled Mabvuku MP Munya Kufa.
Kufa, who was initially scheduled to appear in court on September 16, was abruptly ordered to attend proceedings this morning, September 5. His lawyers revealed that authorities had already pushed for his appearance last week, but he was away on personal travel.
Mkwananzi described the sudden change as “unusual” and politically motivated, pledging full solidarity with Kufa.
“We know that you are innocent. Your only crime was defeating Scott Sakupwanya in the last general election,” Mkwananzi declared, vowing to provide updates and public support as the case unfolds.
