Professor Jonathan Moyo has been slammed as a hypocrite after suddenly defending Virginia Mabiza, despite being the very man who once publicly exposed her alleged affair with President Emmerson Mnangagwa.
Critics dug up Moyo’s own old tweets, where he blasted Mabiza as Mnangagwa’s “pal and fixer” during the 2017 coup, and even accused her of parading herself as a “shadow First Lady” to abuse power she did not officially hold.
Now, however, Moyo is singing a different tune insisting recent reports linking Mabiza to Mnangagwa are mere smears. Social media users quickly called out the contradiction, accusing him of flip-flopping for convenience and trying to rewrite history.
