Socialite Anna “Chibaby” Honde says supporting the girl child through sanitary pad donations is not a new initiative for her, but a responsibility she has carried for years.
“Padding the girl child is a responsibility I was given by God. I started before I became Anna Chibaby Honde. I don’t know how God works, but somehow He chose me, a sinner, to do His work. Each time I kneel down and pray, I still ask questions,” she shared.
Anna, who has been running the campaign long, is now calling on the public to recommend schools with more than 200 girls in need of pads as she plans the next phase of her distribution programme when schools reopen.
