Sikhala has showered praise on activist Lynne Stactia, describing her as one of the most fearless women in Zimbabwe’s ongoing fight for democracy.
In a statement shared on X (formerly Twitter), Sikhala said Stactia embodies the spirit of resilience, likening her courage to that of a lioness.
“She is the heroine of the post-independence democratic struggle against all forms of evil and dictatorship. One of the few women who stand her ground for what she has resolved to support. The woman with a strong spine of a lioness,” he wrote.
Sikhala further commended Stactia’s role in challenging what he called the “greed cartels of Zvigananda”, urging her not to relent in her efforts.
“I would like to wholeheartedly thank and honour her for all the sacrifices she is doing for the liberation of our country… May God continue to inspire and give you courage to continue fighting,” added Sikhala.
