Afro-jazz star Selmor Mtukudzi has expressed deep gratitude after sharing the stage with Chimurenga legend Dr Thomas Mapfumo, describing the experience as an unforgettable honour.
In a heartfelt tweet, Selmor revealed that she shared a personal story with Mapfumo about her late father-in-law, music icon Zexie Manatsa.
“I told him about how my father in love Zexie Manatsa was singing a song they wrote together back in the day just 15 minutes before he passed away surrounded by family. I was pleased to be able to share the story with Dr last night ,” she wrote.
