Controversial businessman Wicknell Chivayo has declared that President Emmerson Mnangagwa will remain in office until 2030, dismissing speculation about the end of his political career.
Reacting to social media chatter following Mnangagwa’s handover of the SADC chairmanship, Chivayo defended the president’s political longevity.

“Dream on, 2030 anenge achipo,” Chivayo posted on X (formerly Twitter)
Mnangagwa, who assumed the presidency in 2017 after the ouster of Robert Mugabe, is currently serving his second term following the disputed 2023 elections.
