President Emmerson Mnangagwa has arrived in Chimoio, Mozambique, to officially hand over donations from the Zimbabwean government to assist victims of Cyclone Chido.
The humanitarian consignment, mobilised through the Zimbabwe International Humanitarian Aid Drive (Zimaid), includes essential supplies aimed at supporting communities affected by the devastating storm.
Upon arrival, President Mnangagwa was received by Mozambican leader President Daniel Chapo. The two heads of state held a private tête-à -tête before proceeding to the venue for the official handover ceremony.

Cyclone Chido recently battered parts of central Mozambique, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake, displacing thousands, and causing significant damage to infrastructure and livelihoods.
