Former Cabinet Minister Saviour Kasukuwere has taken aim at ZANU PF’s communication discipline after Patrick Chinamasa posted then quickly deleted a tweet appearing to confirm businessman Kuda Tagwirei’s co-option into the ruling party’s structures.

Chinamasa, a senior ZANU PF figure and the party’s treasurer-general, had reposted a message early Tuesday morning suggesting Tagwirei had formally joined ZANU PF ranks, sparking speculation about internal restructuring and elite consolidation.

Reacting sharply, Kasukuwere, who has maintained an outsider stance since his departure from frontline politics, posted on X (formerly Twitter)

“Tweeting a supposed party position at 3AM is deeply disturbing! Zvichiri zvemusangano here?”
