Socialite and comedienne Mai Tt has fiercely hit back at claims that she borrowed money to pay Nigerian actors for her upcoming film. Responding in her usual fiery tone, she dismissed the rumours as pure lies.
“Ndiudzireiwo imbwa iyi kuti my husband paid and my money paid actors. One actor is 10,000 USD maybe she was misinformed. Kambwaaaa! Akakweretwa hapana hapo, weruuuu!” she said.
The accusations came after reports surfaced suggesting she couldn’t afford to foot the hefty $10,000–$15,000 appearance fees of some of the Nigerian stars featured in her project.
Mai Tt insisted that no loans were involved, and both she and her husband personally funded the production underscoring her commitment to creating high-quality content despite public criticism.
