These three companies formed the TEFOMA Construction consortium that built the Mbudzi Interchange (also known as the Trabablas Interchange) in Harare. The consortium included Tensor Systems, Fossil Contracting, and Masimba Construction, which were responsible for the multi-tier interchange featuring 15 bridges and complex roadworks.
Two companies working on the Victoria Falls Road project, Syvern Investment and Bitumen Resources, were not mentioned as part of the Mbudzi Interchange project consortium

Bulawayo–Victoria Falls Road Rehabilitation
The road upgrade is nderway, with five contractors actively constructing detours along key sections to ensure smoother traffic flow during works:
🔹 Lot 1 – Fossil Contracting: 4km of bush cleared for detour (from 48.6km peg)
🔹 Lot 2 – Masimba Construction: 5km cleared between 85km and 90km pegs
🔹 Lot 3 – Syvern Investment: Bush cleared from 99.6km to 104km; work ongoing
🔹 Lot 4 – Bitumen Resources: 4.2km cleared (201.6km chainage extending toward 191km)
🔹 Lot 5 – Tensor Systems: 5km cleared from 201.6km to 211.6km peg

2. Police officers have been arrested for the murder of Kenyan activists, Albert Ojwang while in police cells. The first is Constable James Mukhwana, who appeared in court and is accused of involvement in the planning and execution of Ojwang’s death, as well as tampering with CCTV cameras at the Central Police Station in Nairobi to conceal evidence. The second arrested officer is Samson Talam, the officer commanding the Central Police Station in Nairobi, who was detained along with a civilian technician responsible for the station’s CCTV system.
3. The murder trial of South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane is set to resume at the Durban High Court. The two were shot and killed in February 2023 outside the Wish restaurant on Florida Road in Durban. Five men—Lindokuhle Mkhwanazi, Lindani Ndimande, Siyanda Myeza, Mziwethemba Gwabeni, and Lindokuhle Lindo Ndimande—are currently charged with their murders. The KwaZulu-Natal Judge President, Thoba Poyo-Dlwathi, has issued a stern warning to both the State and the defence to be fully available for the trial, which is scheduled to last three months starting next year. The trial was postponed to July 24, 2025, to allow for further preparations and to resolve outstanding issues, including representation of the accused. two other suspects arrested in Eswatini are involved in ongoing extradition proceedings, which may impact the trial timeline. These suspects, along with the five in custody, face multiple charges including conspiracy to commit murder, murder, and attempted murder.
