A 36-year-old man from KwaZulu-Natal has been sentenced to five years in prison after being convicted of distributing manipulated pornographic images featuring the faces of President Cyril Ramaphosa, former Police Minister Bheki Cele, and Cele’s wife, Thembeka Ngcobo.

According to court records, the man used digital editing tools to superimpose the public figures’ faces onto explicit material and then circulated the images on social media platforms.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) described the act as “deeply offensive” and damaging to the dignity and privacy of the individuals involved.
