In a thought-provoking post, government spokesperson Nick Mangwana has called on Zimbabweans to shift their mindset when speaking about the country’s challenges.
Mangwana took to social media to comment on the common phrase “hapana kwatiri kuenda senyika” (there’s nowhere for us to go as a country), which is often used to express national frustration or despair.
He urged people to be more self-aware, suggesting they instead say “hapana kwandiri kuenda” (there’s nowhere for me to go), emphasizing personal responsibility over collective defeatism.
“I think people should just stop saying, ‘hapana kwatiri kuenda senyika…’ and speak for themselves. Like ‘hapana kwandiri kuenda,’” Mangwana posted
