In a heartfelt and revealing interview, Academy Award-winning actress Viola Davis shared a poignant story about her experience working with the late Chadwick Boseman on the set of “Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom”.

Davis admitted that she had judged Boseman’s behavior during filming, unaware of the private battle he was fighting.

Davis recalled that Boseman would often take breaks and sit alone, which sparked her initial judgment.

“There was a little part of me that was a little judgmental – why do you need all that?” she said.

However, it wasn’t until later that she discovered the truth behind his actions. Boseman was secretly battling colon cancer, and his behavior on set was a result of his declining health.
