Our marriage ended for me the day you decided to share our matrimonial bedroom with your own sister in my presence not once, not twice, but repeatedly. That was a level of pain and humiliation I never imagined I would have to endure in my own marriage.
I could not continue carrying the pain of feeling as though I was sharing my husband with the very children I was raising. It became too much for me emotionally and mentally. Then there was the physical abuse, the disrespect, and the daily humiliation that slowly broke down everything I believed our marriage was supposed to be.
Through all of this, I never wanted to change who you are. I kept hoping things would become better, but I have reached a point where I have to stop sacrificing myself just to keep a marriage alive.
