Masiwa Faces Return as Chamisa Heads to UK

Wellington Masiwa’s Time is Up
Activist Wellington Masiwa is set to arrive back in Zimbabwe very soon. The 15 days he was given to challenge his extradition from South Africa have expired with no legal challenge filed.
Masiwa has always insisted the fraud case against him is politically motivated. He says he fears for his life if he returns, claiming he’s on a government hit list. However, the South African court that approved his extradition said his fears of persecution were not part of their decision.
Nelson Chamisa Goes to the UK
At the same time, opposition leader Nelson Chamisa is traveling to the UK. He will hold meetings with Zimbabweans living there as part of what he calls a consultation tour.
Chamisa will visit London, Manchester, and Corby to hear from the diaspora community.
Two Very Different Paths
One man is being forced back to Zimbabwe against his will. The other is freely traveling abroad to connect with supporters.
