
A 46-year-old man from St Mary’s, Chitungwiza, has been remanded in custody after appearing at the Harare Magistrates’ Court on allegations of cyber-bullying and harassment. Elisha Ruhinga, of Chitungwiza, who allegedly operates Facebook and TikTok accounts under the name “Bigboss Isaiah”, is facing charges of cyber-bullying and harassment involving Johane Masowe eChishanu church leader, Madzibaba Moses Gwasira.
Ruhinga published videos on Facebook and TikTok alleging that Madzibaba Gwasira:
- Theft of State Funds: Stole money belonging to the State.
- Exploitation of Church Members: Charged his congregation fees for prayers.
- Misappropriation of Donations: Mishandled or stole donations given to the church.
- Physical Violence: Poured acid on a woman identified as Mai Adha Chireka.

On December 8, 2025, when Madzibaba Gwasira was alerted by members of his congregation to videos circulating on Facebook and TikTok that were allegedly damaging to his character. Ruhinga is accused of publishing content alleging that Madzibaba Gwasira stole State funds, exploited church members by charging fees for prayers, and misappropriated church donations. Court papers further allege that Ruhinga accused the church leader of pouring acid on a woman identified as Mai Adha Chireka.
