Prominent lawyer Beatrice Mtetwa, representing Mary Chiwenga has revealed that the former second lady’s health has worsened.
This comes after Mary who had her left leg and right hand amputated, appeared at Harare Magistrates Court in a wheelchair.
Mtetwa told the magistrate that Chiwenga wants a permanent stay of prosecution on charges including attempted murder and money laundering.
She said Marry is extremely sick, making it difficult to get instructions from her because of her condition.
She added that Chiwenga’s estranged wife is always on medication, in pain or sedated.
