Zambia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Mulambo Haimbe says they have engaged SADC and AU to help resolve the diplomatic dispute with Zimbabwe.
In a statement, Haimbe said Enmerson Mnangagwa’s recent remarks in Russia were “an unwarranted attack on Zambia’s sovereignty”.
He added that Zambia wants the matter “decisively and conclusively addressed” by the regional bodies.
The Minister said Zambia and Zimbabwe have always enjoyed warm relations from pre- colonial times including military support during Zimbabwe’s liberation movement.
