Chief Secretary-Presidential Communications in the Office of the President George Charamba has dismissed as fake, a statement puporting that President Emmerson Mnangagwa has given a directive for the release of Madzibaba Ishmael Chokurongerwa and his co-accused.
This comes after a letter dated 19 March from chief secretary to the President’s office Martin Rushwaya stating tgat Mnangagwa holds firm the belief that Madzibaba Ishmael is innocent circulated on social media.
Charamba said: “THEY WILL TRY ALL SORTS OF PROPAGANDA; WHAT THEY NEVER CAN DO IS TO MATCH THE HOUSE STYLE OF OPC!!! Enjoy this farce!!!!!!”
Chokurongerwa was arrested for running a cult in Nyabira which led to the discovering of 16 unregistered graves at the site.
