A suspected armed robber Godfrey Njoromore has died after being shot on the thigh by police in Nyatsime on Sunday.
In a statement, Police spokesperson Paul Nyathi confirmed the shooting of Njoromore.
The suspect was shot on the thigh after trying to evade arrest. He was taken to Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals where he died upon admission.
The incident follows Benjamin Chipiri’s arrest in connection with a robbery that took place on the 2nd of December 2023.
The robbery happened at a house in Chitungwiza, Zengeza 5.
