The Zimbabwean government has issued a directive setting an ambitious end-of-2026 deadline for the comprehensive restructuring of the Zimbabwe Electricity Supply Authority (ZESA) entities. This strategic move aims to transform the national power utility into a more efficient and commercially viable operation. The announcement was made by Minister of Energy and Power Development, July Moyo, during his Ministry’s Strategic Planning Review Workshop held in Victoria Falls on Saturday.
