General Sigauke has revealed that, following recent consultations across all ten provinces, there is unanimous agreement on the need for a leader with liberation credentials, proven governance experience, and unwavering loyalty to the Party. According to his statement, General (Retired) Dr. C.G.D.N. Chiwenga is consistently named as that leader across all provincial and district structures. He emphasized that this support comes from grassroots members and reflects organic alignment, not factional maneuvering.

General Sigauke also offered the following counsel to Party structures:

  • They must maintain discipline and continue operating within established Party protocols.

  • They should respect the clear voice of the membership and honor the wisdom of Party structures.

  • They must prioritize unity, ensuring that any leadership transition strengthens rather than weakens collective resolve.

  • They should exercise utmost confidentiality, keeping internal processes within the Party.

He concluded that the provinces have spoken clearly and that the Party must listen and act accordingly.
