What happened this Friday:

🚐 A kombi (minibus) plunged into Ruti Dam

👨👩👧👦 9 people died in total

📉 Most victims were under 10 years old
⏳ Recent incidents at the same dam:

🕯️ A few weeks ago – 2 boys drowned when their boat capsized on their way to church

🕯️ Before that – 5 family members (a mother, 2 daughters, 1 son, and her brother) drowned while crossing the dam

7 young children lost their lives in the latest accident, making it the deadliest of three tragic events at Ruti Dam in just the past few weeks.
