Suspect: Albert Tizwa (also known as Major Albert Tizwa), a Military Intelligence Officer in the Presidential Guard in Harare.

What happened: Tizwa was caught in Newlands, Harare, carrying a bag of money from the offices of Kuda Tagwirei. He was reportedly on a mission to assassinate the VP and General, following orders from Tagwirei and Brigadier General Mhonda.

Arrest: Tizwa resisted arrest and pulled out an AK-47 (which his rank is not allowed to carry—he should only have a pistol). He is now under arrest.
