An account linked to Mnangagwa faction Bete X, has accused retired Zimbabwe army Generals of working with Chiwenga in a factional battle. The account has threatened that Retired Air Marshal Muchena will lose his board seat at ZINWA soon.
The retired army generals and civil servants have warned Mnangagwa against going to 2030 without going to a Referendum
Air Marshal Henry Muchena was appointed Air Vice-Marshal in 2002, later retired, and became involved in ZANU PF commissariat duties.
He is the Independent Non-Executive Deputy Chairperson of the Zimbabwe National Water Authority. He was originally appointed to the board in May 2019 by the late Minister of Lands, Agriculture, Water, Climate and Rural Resettlement, Air Chief Marshal (Rtd) Perrance Shiri.

Khumalo House Faces Demolition
- 1987: The Bulawayo City Council (BCC) originally sells Stand 6843 to Girlie Malunga for ZWD $3,540. She passes away 10 months later, having paid only a quarter of the price.
- Post-1987: Girlie Malunga’s husband, Joseph Bingo Malunga, inherits the property but never settles the outstanding balance with the council. The land remains undeveloped for years.
- 1991: The BCC issues an “intent to cancel” notice due to non-payment, but the cancellation is never enforced.
- 2008: A man named Stanley Mpofu allegedly claims to have purchased the stand. He reportedly builds a concrete slab on the property.
- 2012: Stanley Mpofu allegedly sells the property to Thabani Mguni.
- 2016: Raphael Masuku purchases the stand directly from Joseph Bingo Malunga (the surviving spouse of the original buyer, Girlie Malunga). Masuku begins trying to register the deed with the council.
- 2022: The High Court in Bulawayo allegedly grants ownership of the property to Eukellia Mguni (Thabani Mguni’s widow) by default.
- 2023: Raphael Masuku returns from South Africa and discovers a 13-room mansion under construction on his stand. He learns it is being built by Fanwell Zouma, who claims to have purchased the property from the Mguni estate.
