
Great Zimbabwe University (GZU) is now inviting applications from suitably qualified candidates to enroll in a variety of Undergraduate and Postgraduate Degree Programmes for the upcoming academic year, starting in February/March 2026.
Important Application Notes:

(a) Applicants must clearly indicate on the application form their preferred cohort location: Harare, Masvingo, Chiredzi, Bulawayo, or Mutare.

(b) All conventional (full-time) degree programmes are conducted at the main campus in Masvingo.
PROGRAMME OFFERINGS BY SCHOOL
1. HERBERT CHITEPO LAW SCHOOL
Post Graduate Diploma in Wildlife Law and Policy (1 year Block Release)
Entry Requirements:
To be eligible, applicants must normally have:

A relevant degree (e.g., Law, Agriculture, Environmental Science & Food Systems, Veterinary Science, or any recognised wildlife-related discipline) from a recognised university; OR
-
A Higher National Diploma (HND) from a recognised institution plus a minimum of three (3) years of relevant professional experience, regarded as equivalent.
2. MUNHUMUTAPA SCHOOL OF BUSINESS SCIENCES
Master of Commerce in Public Management and Governance *(1½ Years Block Release/Weekend class)*
Entry Requirements:

Normal Entry: A minimum of a first degree with an aggregate pass of 2.2 in Business, Public Administration, Social Sciences, Humanities, Law, Education, Health Sciences, or other related disciplines from a recognised institution.

Special Entry: A recognised undergraduate degree plus relevant managerial or supervisory experience in the fields listed above.

Mature Entry: A third-class undergraduate degree and at least 2 years of managerial experience at a senior level.
3. GARY MAGADZIRE SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE AND ENGINEERING
Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Agricultural Economics *(4 Years Full-time / 3 Years Block Release)*
Entry Requirements:
For all entry pathways, candidates must have at least five Ordinary Level subjects/National Foundation Certificates, including English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject at grade C or better.

Normal Entry: Advanced Level passes in at least two Commercial and/or Science subjects.

Special Entry: At least 25 years of age for males and 23 years of age for females, with at least five years of relevant documented working experience.
4. SCHOOL OF MEDICAL AND HEALTH SCIENCES

Normal Entry: A BSc Honours Degree (2.1 or better) in Computing, Electronic Engineering, Applied Maths, Statistics, Business Analytics, Operations Research, or related field. • Special Entry: A Lower Second (2.2) Honours Degree in the above fields plus at least two years’ post-qualification experience. |
