Public Notice from The Office of the Town Clerk

The City of Bulawayo is inviting high-value local and international investors to take advantage of new investment opportunities unlocked on the George Avenue Corridor and in other areas. This initiative aims to develop Bulawayo into a “City of Kings, A Smart and Sustainable City by 2030.”

Investors interested in developing medical facilities, office parks, hotels, petroleum service stations, and townhouses are strongly encouraged to participate.

  • Available stands are primarily located along the George Avenue Corridor (Suburbs).

  • Additional opportunities have been earmarked in Selborne Park and Barham Green suburbs.

  • Opportunities fall under the City’s lease/rental with an option to buy model.

The City advises that the following stands were erroneously listed and have been withdrawn immediately:

  • Stand number 20002 (Suburbs) George Avenue, 6047m², designated for Office Parks.

  • Stand number 186 (Suburbs) George Avenue, 7000 m², initially preserved for a Lodge.


Submission Requirements for Investors

Interested investors must submit an investment proposal outlining:

  • Project concept and scope

  • Estimated investment value

  • Implementation timeline

  • Employment creation potential

  • Proposed lease-rental and purchase price

  • Deadline: All Expressions of Interest must be submitted no later than Friday, 13 February 2026.
