
Application Requirements & Eligibility
1. Undergraduates:
-
Should have a minimum of ten (10) points at ‘A’ Level in subjects relevant to the chosen degree programme.
-
Must be 25 years of age or below by 31 January 2027.
2. Undergraduates for Science and Technology:
-
Should have either an A or B grade in a relevant ‘A’ Level Science subject.
3. Masters and PhDs:
-
Must have at least an Upper Second-Class Degree classification in the relevant field.
-
Masters applicants should be below 35 years of age by 31 January 2027.
-
PhD applicants should be below 40 years of age by 31 January 2027.
Documents Required for Registration
Interested candidates should present the following:
-
A COPY of the bio-data page of a VALID PASSPORT or PROOF OF AN APPLICATION for a passport.

An Application letter specifying the preferred Undergraduate or Post-graduate degree programme. Give at least 5 suitable program choices.

A Motivation letter (giving the applicant’s background and justification for nomination).
-
Two reference letters, each from different persons or institutions.
-
Copies of CERTIFIED ‘A’ Level and ‘O’ Level Results Slips or Certificates.
-
Copies of CERTIFIED Degree Certificates and Transcripts (for Masters/PhD applicants) and confirmation of results from respective Universities.
-
Copies of CERTIFIED Birth and I.D. Certificates.
-
A detailed Curriculum Vitae, showing the District of origin (as per Birth Certificate/National ID) and at least three functioning contact phone/cell numbers.
-
Registration documents that meet the deadline are valid until 31 January 2027.

Submission Methods:

By Mail/Courier: Applications may be submitted through courier services or registered mail. The last day for sending mail is 21 February 2026.

In Person (Physical): Applications are to be submitted in person from 23 February 2026 to 27 February 2026 during working hours at designated collection centers (see list below).

NB: Applications submitted through third parties, agencies, or any unauthorized institution will not be accepted.

Applicants may choose any submission method, but multiple submissions will lead to disqualification.

Do not be entertained by unauthorized officials/persons at application centers or leave your documents without signing for them.

CLOSING DATE FOR SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS IS 27 FEBRUARY 2026. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS ARE TO BE ENTERTAINED.

Only those registered will be considered for any scholarship opportunities, and candidates should be prepared to accept offers from any prescribed country.
