General Information
Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) is an autonomous parastatal under the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education. It is an internationally accredited Examinations Board responsible for assessment, evaluation, and documentation of academic readiness and skill acquisition for primary and secondary students in Zimbabwe.

1. Human Capital Manager
-
Job Summary: Reporting directly to the Human Capital Director, the manager will plan, coordinate, and direct administrative functions, oversee recruitment, consult on strategic planning, and serve as a link between management and employees.

Key Performance Areas:
-
Contributing to the development of policies and procedures.
-
Managing human resource acquisition, Industrial Relations, and staff counselling.
-
Managing Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), payroll, and performance management.
-
Developing and managing the Human Capital budget and strategy.
-
Managing records and ensuring staff files are kept safe.
-

Education & Experience:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management/Organizational Behavior.
-
Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management/Organizational Behavior or Business Administration.
-
Professional Diploma in Personnel Management or Labour relations.
-
At least 5 years working experience at the same level.
-
MS Excel is a must; knowledge of Microsoft packages and HR Systems.

In-depth knowledge of labour law.

2. Regional Manager Midlands
-
Job Summary: Reporting to the Director Examinations Administration, the role represents all ZIMSEC divisions in the province and interfaces with the Ministry of Primary and Secondary School Ordinary Level & Advanced Level.

Key Performance Areas:
-
Planning and controlling all examination activities in the Region.
-
Coordinating Centre inspection and registration.
-
Spearheading E-registration and assisting with candidate entries.
-
Monitoring Grade 7 Markers recruitment and marking of practical subjects.
-
Managing question paper distribution and script collection.
-
Investigating suspected malpractice and managing regional assets.
-

Education & Experience:
-
Holder of a Master’s Degree.
-
At least 5 years experience as an Educationist at the level of Headmaster, Deputy Head, or Education Officer.

Experience in conducting and supervising examinations.
-
Holder of a clean Class 4 driver’s licence.

3. ICT Audit Manager
-
Job Summary: Reporting to Director – Audit, the purpose is to provide information systems audit skills in accordance with Institute of Internal Auditor’s and ISACA standards.

Key Performance Areas:
-
Assisting in the development of a flexible annual risk-based IT audit plan.
-
Performing various audit types including IT General Controls, Applications Control, IT security, and IT project reviews.
-
Performing IT risk assessments and evaluating business risks and potential fraud.
-
Following up on implementation of ICT audit recommendations.

Education & Experience:
-
Degree in Audit, Finance, or IT.
-
Must be a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA).
-
At least 3 years Information Auditing Experience.
-
Proficiency in MS Office and Computer Assisted Audit Techniques (CAATs) such as ACL or Team Mate.
-

Requirements: Must be studying towards a relevant Bachelor’s Degree at a local University.

2. Ministry of Finance, Economic Development and Investment Promotion
Invitation for Expressions of Interest: Non-Executive Board Members
The Ministry invites EOIs from qualified individuals to serve as Non-Executive Board Members for various Central Government Ministries to enhance compliance with the Public Finance Management Act [Chapter 22:19].
