PLEASE NOTE:

  • All applicants should have 5 O-levels, including English, for all courses.

9.0 MECHANICAL AND PRODUCTION ENGINEERING

  • Refrigeration and air conditioning (Part-Time, Block Release and Skills Development Programme)

  • Millwright Works – (Block Release) – written and oral examinations will be conducted during the selection process.

10.0 PRINTING AND GRAPHICS ARTS

  • Packaging Machine Minding (Full-Time and Part-Time)

  • Science subjects considered: Integrated Science, Physics, Chemistry and a relevant NFC.

11.0 SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY

  • Laboratory Technology (Full-Time and Part-Time)

  • Chemical Engineering (Part-Time)

  • Polymer Technology (Full-Time and Part-Time)

  • Horticulture (Full-Time and Part-Time)

  • Metallurgical Assaying (Part-Time)

  • Food Science (Part-Time)

  • Science subjects considered for all other NC courses include Physical Science, Chemistry, Physics, Integrated Science, Biology, and Combined Science.

12.0 SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM AND MASS COMMUNICATION

12.1 NATIONAL CERTIFICATE

  • Mass Communication/ Journalism (Full-Time)

  • Public Relations (Full-Time)

  • Applicants should undergo a written interview and pass an oral interview.

13.0 SCHOOL OF OFFICE MANAGEMENT

13.1 NATIONAL CERTIFICATE

  • Office Management (Full-Time and Part-Time)

  • Entry Requirements: 5 ‘O’ Levels Including English language

14.0 SCHOOL OF HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM

14.1 NATIONAL CERTIFICATE

  • Tourism and Hospitality Management (Full-Time and Part-Time)

  • Professional Cookery – (Full-Time and Part-Time)

  • Bakery Technology and Management (Full-Time and Part-Time)

  • Entry Requirements: 5 ‘O’ Levels Including English language


15.0 BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (Honours) DEGREE PROGRAMS

15.1 BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (Honours) DEGREE IN CHEMICAL TECHNOLOGY

  • Applicants must have an HND in Applied Chemical Technology/ Chemical Engineering/ Metallurgical Engineering, or equivalent qualification.

  • Mode of study: Full time

  • Duration: 2 Years.

15.2 BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY (Honours) DEGREE IN MASS COMMUNICATION

  • Mode of Study: Full-time/ Block release

  • Duration: 3 Years

  • Applicants must have:

    • National Diploma in Mass Communication/ Journalism awarded by the Higher Education Examination Council (HEXCO) or equivalent

    • OR

    • A first degree in social sciences and related fields


OR

Special entry: Applicants without the above qualifications will be considered, provided they have 5 years of journalism and communication experience in addition to 5 Ordinary levels, including English language with a grade of C or better.
