Upon their deployment to patrol the area, authorities were alerted to the headman’s disappearance. His body was subsequently discovered in the mountains yesterday. Police have arrested four young men in connection with the murder. These suspects, described as ex-convicts, were found with the deceased’s personal belongings, linking them directly to the crime. One suspect had previously been jailed for stock theft involving the slaughter and consumption of stolen goats.
