The person who shot him is still unknown, and the reason for the attack is not yet clear.Reports say that Lovemore left Powerhouse bus station in Johannesburg at around 8pm on the day of the incident. When he arrived home, his wife said he later went out to spend time with friends. While returning home at around 2am, he was shot as he was entering his gate.
Lovemore worked as a promoter at a bus company called Imperial Lane.
