Notable events include large inter-district meetings in Chitungwiza, Highfield, and Hatcliffe where tens of thousands of party cadres attended, although the rallies reportedly fell short of expected impact and turnout. Tagwirei’s political rise has sparked both support and controversy within ZANU-PF, with speculation about his potential succession role alongside President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s term extension ambitions. Despite his prominent donations and policy advocacy, his ability to mobilize broader party support appears challenged.
