Outgoing European Union Ambassador to Zimbabwe, Jobst Von Kirchmann, today paid a courtesy farewell visit to the Vice President, General (Rtd) Constantino Chiwenga, at his offices in Harare.
Ambassador Von Kirchmann has served as the EU’s chief envoy to Zimbabwe since 2022, working to strengthen bilateral relations between Harare and Brussels during a politically sensitive and economically turbulent period.
His tenure focused on re-engagement efforts, development cooperation, and ongoing dialogue on governance and electoral reforms.
The farewell visit is part of diplomatic tradition as the Ambassador prepares to conclude his mission and hand over responsibilities to his successor.
