Former First Lady Grace Mugabe recently celebrated her 60th birthday with a private gathering held at the Mugabe rural homestead in Zvimba.
Although her birthday fell on July 23, the commemorative event took place days later and drew several high-profile guests.
Among those in attendance were Vice President Constantino Chiwenga’s wife, Amai Chiwenga, and Elizabeth Tsvangirai, widow of the late opposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai. Their presence highlighted a rare moment of political cross-pollination in an otherwise polarized landscape.
