Zanu PF senior official and prominent political figure Douglas Mahiya had his vehicle clamped by Harare City Council traffic officers for a parking violation.
The incident occurred in central Harare, where Mahiya’s vehicle was reportedly parked illegally.
Adding to the offense, the car did not display any number plates a violation that typically attracts additional penalties under Zimbabwean traffic regulations.
Douglas Mahiya, a former liberation war veteran and Zanu PF’s Secretary for War Veterans Affairs, has yet to comment on the incident.
Sources however say the car in question belongs to Tagwirei.
