President Captain Ibrahim has expressed satisfaction following his visit to Bobo-Dioulasso from May 21 to 24, 2025, highlighting several key achievements aimed at improving the lives of the Burkinabè people.
In a statement, the president announced the delivery of agricultural and livestock inputs and equipment valued at over 104 billion FCFA, aimed at empowering hardworking producers to achieve national food self-sufficiency.
He also laid the foundation stones for a cashew processing factory and a veterinary medicine production unit projects described as critical steps toward Burkina Faso’s vision of true industrialization.
Simultaneously, in Ouagadougou, the Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland Brigade (VDP) received a substantial logistics supply package worth over 6 billion FCFA to strengthen national defense efforts.
President Ibrahim credited these investments to the patriotic commitment of citizens, through contributions to the Patriotic Support Fund and the payment of taxes.
“I congratulate all the sons and daughters of Burkina Faso, as well as the diaspora, for this patriotic surge and determination to build a new society together,” he declared.
He closed his remarks with the national rallying cry: “The Fatherland or Death, We Shall Overcome.”
