President Emmerson Mnangagwa has fired Minister of Environment, Climate, and Wildlife, Sithembiso Gladys Nyoni, bringing an end to her 30-year tenure as a Minister.
The 75-year-old Nyoni had been a stalwart in Zimbabwean politics, serving under different administrations and holding various ministerial positions.
The move is seen as part of President Mnangagwa’s efforts to revamp his cabinet and bring in fresh faces.
