South African businessman Edwin Sodi has been set free after his estranged wife withdrew attempt murder case at Randburg Magistrate Court.
Nthateng Lerata stated that Sodi allegedly tried to shoot her alongside her male companion at their Bryanston residence.
Sodi was being charged of attempted murder and assault.
This case dates back to 2022.
