Zimbabwean exiled legendary musician Thomas Mapfumo go fund me campaign organized by Lance Guma has stirred some mixed reaction.
Thomas Mapfumo Domboshava home was destroyed by fire on the 23rd of September 2024 and the go fund me campaign is meant to raise fund to rebuild the house.
Some have shown interest in helping out to rebuild whereas some have criticized the campaign stating that he was the one who is supposed to help the poor not the other way around.
Some even expressed that he was a proud and private man, did he really ask for his help to rebuild his home.
One expressed that the best they could do is make sure he is heavily booked that way he will be able to rebuild the house himself.
