Zimbabwe’s youngest Chief Marupi was laid to rest yesterday at his homestead in the Selonga area of Gwanda South.
Marupi was buried beside his father, the late Lawrence Nare.
He died at the age of 28 on October 20 after a brief illness while being treated at Healthpoint Hospital.
President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa’s son-in-law Gerald Mlotshwa jetted into Selonga village to pay his last respects to Chief Marupi.
